Tools for creative work.
Room for curiosity.
Media Grid Software Development Labs is the independent software practice of Christopher Edward Green. Our current focus is helping actors and teachers find material for auditions, classes and rehearsal.
Screenplay Finder Reader
Find monologues, two-person scenes and larger scenes in prepared screenplay catalogues. Search by length, roles, casting profiles and tone, then organise selections into private favourites and shortlists.
The Reader is currently being tested on iPhone and iPad. Included reading copies are available where the catalogue’s permissions allow them. Your searches and collections are stored locally on your device.
For enquiries about the Reader or beta testing, contact support@mgsdl.com.
Open Source
Alongside our current work, we maintain a collection of software projects and technical research, from classic DOS utilities to Apple II Pascal explorations and a Swift tool for generating Traveller star systems.
